KILLER CACTI

                                    "How bad is it?"

I once fell into a cactus bush. This drawing is no exaggeration, I nearly died.  I remember this situation happened not long after my sister had fallen into her own cactus bush. I did not heed that warning or the warning found in the theme song for Hey Dude. But these days I hear it loud and clear. "Watch out for those man-eating jack rabbits and that killer cacti, heeeeeyyy dude."

Star Trek

Here are some production designs I did for the new star trek movie. I didn't think the designs needed to be updated. I hope the final film will have the same energy as these three vignettes.

Neverending Characters

When I finished my film I stop drawing the main characters. I stopped because it was all I drew for a whole semester. For months and months I designed, animated, and colored this guy and his monkey, so I stopped. But then a few days ago I sat down with my sketch book and I wanted to draw them.
I love the feeling of knowing exactly how to do it. There is no question of where the eyes go, or how long the legs are. The pencil instinctively knows where to go. I definitely recommend going back and drawing your old characters. And if you don't have an old character just draw somebody elses. For example, spawn, e.t., ziggy... the list goes on.

Icarus in SPACE!

I have been watching a lot of science fiction lately. I watched the Alien series again, threw in some RobocopI, II, and The Abyss, A real smorgasbord of the future. I think they are all great and I think hollywood would be smart to do one mega crossover. Robocop, Alien, T1000, Neo, Ironman team up to fight Wolverine, Skywalker, E.T. , and Biff Tannen.... Wolverine would win.

The Airship Danger

DOOOOOOOOONNNNEEE!!! I turned in my film this morning!

What an adventure it was this year. It went by so quickly and I learned so much. Making a film gives you so many suprise lessons throughout. Invaluable ones that get light bulbs to turn on inside your head.

I can't wait to see all the films in the open show!

Girls and Dogs

Some girls just love small dogs. In the last few years the demand for dogs less than four pounds sky rocketed. I wish I had bought some small dog stock when it was still cheap.

Faith the Wonder Dog

Wouldn't you feel pretty darn cool walking around the dog park with such an exceptional dog. I know I would. Normal dog activities like fetch and frisbee would be out of the question. I would want to do things like soccer and practice hip hop dance moves with my bipedal dog.
